Finding cardstock that cuts on Cricut and cuts well can be a challenge. It's so frustrating to load a fresh sheet of cardstock and hit cut, then have it rip and tear and become useless. But it's actually the worst when its the last piece of a color you need.
Encore Textured Cardstock for Cricut Cutting
I have totally fallen in love with Encore Textured Cardstock from 12x12 Cardstock Shop. This paper consistently cuts amazing. Full disclosure - I work for 12x12 Cardstock Shop, but that just means I have thoroughly tested Encore Cardstock against all of the other popular brands. I've cut into Encore Textured Cardstock so many times and it's 100% my pick for best cardatock for Cricut cutting.
Every single time it cuts amazing, even on small, intricate designs.
I also really recommend an Encore Swatch Book so you can see all the colors in real life. I already have a few favorite colors: Encore Pink Grapefruit, Encore Sea Glass, Encore Mint Chocolate Chip and Encore Honey Bear.
What cut settings to use for Encore Cardstock
This is an 80# cardstock so on a Cricut Maker machine I cut Encore Cardstock on the heavyweight cardstock setting. This seems to be the optimal setting for good clean cuts every time.
